Male Reproductive System

The organs that produce and deliver sperm, and produce male sex hormones.

  • Duct system — the epididymis (where sperm mature and are stored) and the vas deferens (which carries sperm onward).

  • Penis — the organ of delivery; its urethra is shared with the urinary system.

Produces sperm continuously from puberty onward, and delivers them.

The male system runs continuously, producing sperm in vast numbers throughout adult life — a contrast with the cyclical female system.
